Salary Range: $27.09 - $40.91 Hourly

Position Summary:

Position will provide training sessions for all HealthPoint staff using the electronic health record system and other business applications, develop and maintain comprehensive training records and materials and provide onsite shadowing.Compensation is dependent on skills and experience.

Your contribution to the team includes:

  • Develop, enhance, modify and maintain training materials including instruction manuals, training checklists, handbooks, reference materials, etc. to support training for all HealthPoint positions requiring the use of the electronic health record system and other business applications.
  • Provide group and individualized instruction to ensure staff proficiency with their required applications and related workflows.
  • Provide onsite shadowing for new employees as required.
  • Maintain knowledge of each position concerning their role, function and workflow to facilitate customized and effective instruction.
  • Assist with workflow redesign and processes as necessary.
  • Assist in coordinating training schedule to support the hiring and training demands of the organization.
  • Develop strong relationships with clinic staff to facilitate communication and feedback.
  • Maintain knowledge of work situations requiring changes in training in regard to changes in policies, procedures, regulations, workflows, business initiatives and technologies.
  • Shadow staff for quality assurance, HIPAA compliance, and to reinforce training received.
  • Reinforce HIPAA training as it relates to electronic health, demographics, and billing.
  • Provide Level II Help Desk technical support for practice management, electronic health record, electronic dental record, pharmacy and other related software as required.
  • Participate in assigned applications projects as required.
  • Participate in implementation and transition to new software modules and upgrades as needed as well as perform testing on new builds and applications during implementation and maintenance phases.
  • Maintain good attendance, is punctual and works full scheduled shift is a condition of employment.
  • Demonstrate respectful, professional, and appropriate behavior that supports a team-oriented work environment.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the mission, core values and goals of HealthPoint and its healthcare delivery including the ability to integrate values of integrity, wisdom, creativity, cooperation, responsibility and respect into appropriate programs and services.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Attend staff meetings, in-service meetings and participate in agency committees and task force activities as required.

Must have's you'll need to be successful:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two (2) year Associates degree or clinical certification preferred.
  • At least one-year related experience in a medical clinic, dental clinic, pharmacy, or equivalent combination of experience required.
  • NextGen eLearning preferred.

Proof of vaccination for COVID-19 is required, prior to start.All new employees are also required to show proof of immunizations and/or immunity to MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), Varicella, annual Influenza and TB QuantiFERON Gold Titer. Additionally, if you work in a HealthPoint clinic, Tdap (within last 10 years) is required. Hepatitis B. is required for clinical employees with potential exposure to blood/blood products. All immunizations are a condition of employment. Upon hire, employees must provide proof of their immunizations and/or immune titer results prior to starting or no later than their fifth (5) business day of employment.
